Running a boat hard in open water means dealing with unpredictable elements. For this project, our goal was to provide the ultimate shield against wind and spray while ensuring the captain could still enjoy plenty of fresh air on nice days.
We designed and fabricated a custom three-sided wrap-around enclosure that mounts seamlessly to the boat's hardtop framework. Crafted from rugged Sunbrella canvas and optical-grade Strataglass, the enclosure features integrated U-zip "smile" panels across the front windshield area. This functional design allows the crew to quickly roll up the windows for maximum airflow or zip them shut for a completely dry ride.
